Driving licence AM
You shall be at least 14 to obtain this licence, and enables you to drive 2 or 3-wheeled mopeds with maximum speed under 45 km/h, engine size under 50 cc, or light quadricycles with mass in running order under 425 kg, speed and engine size equal to mopeds.
Driving licence A
Driving licence A1
You shall be at least 16 to obtain this licence, and enables you to drive motorbikes with maximum engine size 125 cc, maximum power 11 kW and power/mass ratio not over 0.1 kW/kg, and tricycles with maximum power 15 kW.
Driving licence A2
You shall be at least 18 to obtain this licence, and enables you to drive motorbikes with maximum power 35 kW and power/mass ratio not over 0.2 kW/kg.
Driving licence A
You shall be at least 24 to obtain this licence, and enables you to drive all kinds of motorbikes.
Required documents for enrolment
You need 4 passport photos, a valid ID, your tax code and a medical exam.
Driving licence B
Driving licence B
You shall be at least 18 to obtain this licence, and enables you to drive:
- Motorcycles like driving licence A1 (in Italy only).
- Motor vehicles for people and things transportation (trucks and caravans too) with maximum nine seats, driver included, with full-load mass under 3.5 tons, also towing a light trailer (under 750 kg). You can also tow not light trailers, if they do not exceed the mass of the motor vehicle, and total mass is not over 3.5 tons.
- Agricultural vehicles, construction vehicles, emergency vehicles.

You need 4 passport photos, a valid ID, your tax code and a medical exam.
Driving licence B78
Driving licence B78
You shall be at least 18 to obtain this licence, and enables you to drive motor vehicles like driving licence B, with automatic transmission. You are not enabled to drive mechanical transmission vehicles.
Despite the way of thinking of many people, automatic transmission is the future, as it increases road safety, and allows you to drive in a more relaxing and easy way, especially in urban roads.
Autoscuola Macciò owns a car with automatic transmission, and you can use it for driving lessons (at least 6 hours are mandatory to obtain this licence) and taking the exam, which is easier than licence B one.

Driving licence B96
Driving licence B96
You shall be at least 18 to obtain this licence, and enables you to drive motor vehicles with maximum mass 3500 kg, designed and realized to carry not more than eight people (driver excluded), towing a trailer with mass over 750 kg. Maximum mass of the complex shall be between 3500 and 4250 kg.

Driving licence BE
Driving licence BE
You shall be at least 18 to obtain this licence, and enables you to drive motor vehicles with maximum mass 3500 kg (no minibus), towing a trailer with maximum mass 3500 kg.

Practical exam is made up of:
- Parking
- Trailer hooking and unhooking
- Emergency brake
- Obstacle avoiding
- Urban driving
Driving licence C
Driving licence C
You shall be at least 21 to obtain this licence (or at least 18 if you obtain it together with CQC things certificate), and enables you to drive motor vehicles for things transportation with total mass at full load over 3500 kg (no minibus), also towing a light trailer.

You need 4 passport photos, a valid ID, your tax code and a medical exam.
Driving licence D
Driving licence D
You shall be at least 24 to obtain this licence (or at least 21 if you obtain it together with CQC people certificate), and enables you to drive motor vehicles for people transportation with more than 9 seats, driver included, but only for own use. You shall obtain CQC people certificate in order to drive buses and school buses.

Driving licence E
Driving licence E
It is an extension of driving licences B, C1, C, D1 and D that enables you to tow heavy trailers and semitrailers (maximum mass over 750 kg) in vehicles that you are enabled to drive.
You can obtain it by passing an oral theory exam and a practical exam on a specific vehicle. If you have obtained licences C1, C, D1 or D after March 1 2015 or licence B after December 1 2013 you shall take practical exam only.
